Many large-diameter spiral pipes will add a cross bracket in the middle, so what is this bracket used for?
1. If it is directly fixed on a large-diameter spiral pipe, the bearing capacity should be checked.
2. Fix it on the brick wall through embedded parts. In addition to checking the bearing capacity of the wall. The bearing capacity of the anchor plates and anchor bars of the embedded parts should also be calculated.
3. Use expansion bolts to be fixed on the wall. The expansion bolts should be selected according to the reaction force on the wall bracket. The wall should also undergo necessary bearing capacity and stability calculations.
4. When welding to steel structural components, the bearing capacity and stability of the welded parts should be ensured.
The technical performance of the support and hanger material should comply with Taiwan's technical standards. Generally, Q235-A.F can be selected.
- Large-diameter spiral tubes and brackets are connected
In order to improve the stress condition of large-diameter spiral pipes. The stiffener plate connecting the fixed bracket to the pipeline cannot be welded directly to the pipeline, but should be connected through an arc-shaped reinforcing plate.

1 Buildings, structures and equipment used as fixed points should have sufficient bearing capacity and stability.
2. Large-diameter spiral pipe supports should be installed within the allowed span of the pipe. and meet the following requirements:
b Located near elbows and large-diameter three-way branch pipes
eIn addition to setting up load-bearing fixed brackets, guide movable brackets must also be set up.

When there are more than two pipes installed side by side in the large-diameter spiral pipe. A certain distance should be maintained between brackets. As shown in Figure 5, the distance between pipes #1 and #3 from the shear wall should be Greater than or equal to 100mm. When the trapped space is small and the installation work space cannot be guaranteed. The 2# pipe must be adjusted so that the distance between it and the shear wall is Greater than or equal to 200mm.
The expansion joint should be pre-stretched (compressed) before installation.
